I haven’t had time to write up a weekly report on our preschool activities in a long time. And now it has been so long, it is too overwhelming to try to catch up.
But… I’ll share a few pictures from today… my sweet Jeffrey’s 2nd birthday!
Since it was Memorial Day, Ronnie had the day off. We went to Office Depot to buy a new digital camera. Then we went to eat at Fuddrucker’s for lunch. After a big meal of hamburgers, I just made a simple cold supper to go with our birthday cake.

Fresh fruit, bread, crackers. cottage cheese, peanut butter, guacamole…
It took several tries to get the candles lit. Jeffrey blew them out once before we got a chance to sing. Then I blew them out while trying to blow out the match before it burned my fingers.
Finally, “My OWN BIRTHday CA-KE!!”
Jeffrey got one blown out…
and Travis helped with the second.
Whole wheat spice cake with cream cheese frosting.
